Your Visit

Due to the specialized nature of our eye exams, please consider the following on your visit:

  • Your eyes will be dilated - we recommend that you bring your sunglasses and have someone who can drive for you. Watch a short educational video for "Dilating Eyedrops.
  • Please bring a list of all your medications, if any, both pills and eye drops.
  • You may need to have diagnostic tests such as the OCT or FA, which may require additional time in the office (20 to 30 minutes).
  • You may require retinal laser surgery or medical treatment on your first visit for certain retinal conditions that require urgent treatment.
  • Due to the nature of retinal conditions, there may be occasions that an emergency case is referred during the day, which may affect the normal schedule. We ask for your patience and understanding in these occasions, as we try to minimize the inconvenience to you.
